Campbell Jackson 2009 Champion of the Laurence Brannigan Individual Memorial Darts Championship.

The large turnout of players for this event proved the respect this great darts player from Omagh had with all his fellow players over the years when his team mates and players from Laurence’s area turn-up along with the current top players from throughout the 32 counties to compete in this fantastic tournament remembering this great legend which will now become a annual event.

When it came Saturday evening it was only one player from the strong line-up who everyone was starting to talk about and that was Strabane’s top player representing Joe’s Bar in Strabane Campbell Jackson who stormed through the field playing top class darts  to claim the title in great style receiving the £350 first prize-prize and the memorial crystal trophy and becoming the first winner of this brilliant tournament in memory of a through local legend Laurence Brannigan who was very highly respected from the darts scene down through the years.

Special thanks must go to Neechy and Michael Donnelly of the Weigh Inn for the fabulous effort and sponsorship they put in making this a fantastic event and also thanks to their staff for all the hospitality they give to each and every player and their guests throughout the day.
