Star of the Future Junior Pool Tournaments

The first official junior event to be held under Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Junior Pool Academy will be the “STAR OF THE FUTURE ” junior 9-ball pool tournaments.

A group of young players who took part in the Tyrone Under-14 8Ball Pool Championships and who will also be getting involved with Ireland's American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Academy.

This prestigious junior event will be organised in three different categories under-14, under-16, and under-18 (open to boys and girls) and will take place throughout the 32 Counties.

Young junior players who competed in the 2006 Irish Junior 9Ball Masters....and who will be taking part in the Star of the Future junior competitions.

 

The winners of each underage category will receive over £400 in tournament vouchers (each category) which will be the value of over £1200 in total.

12 yearold Ben Mc Moran (Tyrone) who was crowned champion in both the 2006 Co. Tyrone 9Ball Open and the Ulster Junior Open in the under-18 Pool Championships category. Ben will also be competing in the Star of the Future events.

The winners will also receive a host of other opportunities including Professional Coaching and not forgetting the Cups and Trophies to remember their achievement.

Young players who competed in the 2006 Co. Tyrone Under-18 9Ball Pool Championships and who will be taking part in the Star of the Future events.

If there is any young players throughout the 32 Counties North and South of the border that are interested in getting involved even if they never played the game before, Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Junior Pool Academy will give them all the assistants they require on all aspects of the game.

Paul Loughran (pictured left) was the winner of the 2006 Omagh Under-18 9-Ball Open Championships and Ronan Fay (pictured right) was the winner of the 2006 Irish Junior 9-Ball Masters in the under-18 category.....Both players will be competing in the Star of the Future under-18 category.
